Raleigh-Durham Takes #4 Spot in Fastest-Growing U.S. Cities List

An October report released by the Kenan Institute’s American Growth Project places Raleigh among the top five fastest growing cities in the country. Lauded for our three Tier One research institutions (N.C. State, UNC, and Duke) and commitment to funding education and infrastructure, our hometown also got big points as a biotech powerhouse that is growing despite cutbacks across the broader industry. Our status as a high tech hub that lures giants like Cisco, Epic Games, IBM, Red Hat, and Apple also made the list of reasons we took the number four spot.

We love to see Raleigh getting the credit it deserves, and with progress continuing at 1000 Social and The Exchange Raleigh, we’re excited to be a part of Raleigh’s future.
