Dewitt Carolinas Announces Plans for Litchford 315

240 Moderate Income Apartments Rich with Amenities
Luxury Developer to Address Growing Housing Needs in North Raleigh 

Raleigh, NC – April 21, 2020 – Dewitt Carolinas has announced plans for Litchford 315, a new community of 240 garden-style apartments located on Litchford Road in North Raleigh. The 14.3-acre property will include 10 buildings, each with 24 well-appointed apartments, a dog park, and a spacious clubhouse and pool area. Priced to accommodate moderate income individuals and families, Litchford 315 will break ground in early May with the first apartments available by second quarter 2021. Dewitt Carolinas is using the HUD 221(d)(4) program for the project, which insures the developer’s financing to facilitate new construction of moderate multi-family housing. Litchford 315 will offer one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans, with larger units sized to accommodate families. Apartments will feature contemporary lighting and fixtures, stainless steel appliances, natural stone countertops, and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. The community clubhouse includes a gym, a designated kid’s play area, billiards room, and a large gathering space that can be used for resident parties. Other community amenities include a dog park and a landscaped pool area with a cabana. 

The community is located on Litchford Road between Johnsdale Road and Sylvia Dean Street, offering easy access to Highway 540, greater Raleigh, and surrounding communities. 

The architect for Litchford 315 is Planworx Architecture; general contractor is Harold K. Jordan & Co.; civil engineer is Advanced Civil Design; property management and leasing by Drucker + Falk, all local businesses in the Triangle. The first phase of the project will be complete by the second quarter of 2021, with the community fully completed by the first quarter of 2022.
